Functions
- Establish and implement quality benchmarks and parameters for various academic, administrative, and co-curricular activities of the institution to ensure continuous improvement.
- Facilitate the dissemination of information on quality standards and best practices in higher education to all stakeholders for enhanced awareness and participation.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions on quality-related themes and encourage the promotion of quality circles within departments to foster a culture of excellence.
- Systematically document all institutional initiatives, programmes, and activities that contribute to quality improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC in accordance with prescribed quality parameters and institutional data.
- Participation in orientation and training programmes for teaching and non-teaching staff to build professional competence and align institutional practices with quality objectives.
- Develop, administer, and analyze a comprehensive feedback mechanism involving students, faculty, alumni, and employers to inform policy decisions and institutional planning.
- Ensure timely submission and dissemination of institutional data through the All-India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
