Hindu College celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm, with active participation from students, staff, and the Principal, who highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution adopted on 26 January 1950.
The event also marked the launch of Nishchay 2026, a book donation initiative for needy students, which received an excellent response from students, faculty, staff, and Mr. Ashish, Chairman of Ashok Vatika and member of the College Governing Council.
On the birth anniversary of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, Hindu College paid heartfelt homage to the legendary economist, former Prime Minister, and esteemed alumnus. The Principal, staff, and students remembered his wisdom, integrity, and contributions to India’s economic reforms, recalling his visit to the college in 2017 as Chief Guest at the Convocation Ceremony.
On the occasion of National Voters’ Day, college students participated in poster-making and essay-writing competitions. Through these activities, Dr. Deepti sought to make students aware of and motivate them to value their precious right to vote.
The NSS Unit, Hindu College, Amritsar commenced the celebrations of National Youth Week from 12th to 19th January. On the first day, a Poster Making Activity was organized on the theme “Youth for Clean and Green India.” Students actively participated and created posters emphasizing cleanliness, environmental awareness, and green practices.
